Prefacing to the history and our intentions

In spring 1993 it happens, that we got a couple of Toulouse-Geese. From this day our interest in poultry farming was born.

First we got additionally to the geese different other kind of poultries as, chickens and ducks. But after some years we were more and more interested in adornment birds and poultries.

For us it is amazing again and again how rich coloured the animals are and how many different models of behaviour you can find in the nature of these animals.

But unfortunately is the stock of many of these species jeopardised in their natural habitats. The discreation of the habitats and the excessive hunting rate has endangered many of these beautiful birds and poultries.

This is the reason, why today are already different wild fowl-like birds are depending on the support of animals of  the real species which are breeded in private stocks. With our Peafowl breeding we would like to do our own small part to establish and keep breeding stocks with animals of the real wild living species.

Nowadays with the avian influenza hysteria are many people forgetting, that the most aviary stocks of jeopardized fowl-like birds are hold by private enthusiasts. We all can understand that it is necessary to protect the commercial stocks of fowl-like birds, but nobody shouldn't forget us enthusiasts. Many of us are breeding very jeopardized fowl-like birds. The general requirement of last winter to keep all fowl-like birds inside has already killed many very seldom breeding animals.
